Hunters

"Hunter" is a title commonly used to describe those who hunt supernatural beings. History will show that human beings as a species often hunt one another due to difference and fear, and supernatural beings are well known for being slaughtered during certain periods of time.

 

Contrary to the common misconception, hunters do not just hunt werewolves and other creatures without cause. Werecreatures and other supernatural beings are not "beasts" hunted for sport or game. Modern day hunters are much more comparable to law enforcement, and act as such to the majority of the supernatural community. They hunt down evil, vile, and malevolent beings. Werewolves that are hunted are no exception, as every group of man to ever exist comes with those who do evil deeds.

 

Naturally, not all hunters are good. Some may abuse their power and partake in evil deeds themselves. Though rare, hunters sometimes must pursue others of the same profession for violating laws, rules, or pacts, not all of which are spoken. Hunters are often supernatural beings themselves, protecting specific locations or groups. While normally known to work alone, they may be found working together for large scale problems or threats, and commonly utilize the same resources to help them with their tasks.
